In his five years at St. Odilo, Scott Ernst has learned that kids each learn in their own ways. To accommodate different learning styles Mr. Ernst presents material with multiple approaches, both factual and contextual. He also believes strongly in homework as a pathway to learning. “We spend a great deal of time in 8th grade learning about our government and the relevance of all the places students will visit on the Washington, DC trip at the end of the year.” Mr. Ernst attended St. Norbert College, from which he holds a Major in Political Science, a Minor in History and Secondary Education Certification.
