I have been a librarian at Saint Odilo since 2008. I have been a parishioner for 25 years and all five of my children attended St. Odilo School. I consider it a privilege to work with our kind and qualified staff. I am also fortunate to be able to work with students from pre-school through 8th grade. Library class enriches the students' learning through story time, book club and book buddies. The book buddy program allows older students to interact with younger students by reading and creating art projects. Intermediate and junior high grades are assigned novels that we read as a class. This year we read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. They are also responsible for various projects that coincide with the novels. Book Club and story time meets twice a month to discuss our chosen book. The students also enjoy checking out books to enjoy at their leisure.
