With over 30 years of teaching early elementary school, Mary Ann O’Malley has had many opportunities to run into former students. “I know I’ve made a favorable impression because they’re always happy to see me.” Since 1979, Mrs. O’Malley has drilled St. Odilo students in the fundamentals while sprinkling in plenty of praise to boost children’s confidence. Each year she looks forward to reading letters of appreciation from parents telling her how she has helped their children learn and grow. Mrs. O’Malley brings hands-on experience, a B.A. from Loyola and ongoing workshop study to the family environment at St. Odilo.
