St. Odilo Half Day Preschool and PreKindergarten

The 3 year old Pre-School spends their year learning colors, shapes, numbers, and Holiday/Seasonal themes. They also spend time adjusting to school, sharing, and being independent of family. They start to form friendships and learn to take turns. While a lot of the year is learning social skills, they also enjoy making crafts, singing, gym class, library, and coloring.

Mrs. Jeanette Zahrobsky

Jeanette Zahrobsky brings over twelve years experience teaching in the school and CCD program to her work with preschool children. In addition to a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and post-graduate work, Mrs. Zahrobsky calls upon her own history as a parent of St. Odilo students when working with kids. “I think the Pre-School program should be a positive time for children just starting their school careers. I emphasize social skills and the process of learning, not the end product.” For Mrs. Zahrobsky, St. Odilo is a second home. As a teacher, parishioner and parent she has the opportunity to see her students outside the classroom and keep tabs on them as they grow.
