For 29 years Camilla M.Papin, has taught almost every grade level at St. Odilo. With over 40 years experience plus a B.A. in Elementary Education-Speech Correction, an M.A. in Reading Supervision and Religious Education Certification, Ms. Papin chooses St. Odilo because of its great principal and faculty, cooperative and supportive parents and super friendly students. She has many great memories in her years here, but will never forget when “I was telling the students how to pronounce my name, that Camilla rhymed with gorilla. One student raised his hand and asked if I liked gorillas. I said I certainly did and the next day he brought me a stuffed toy gorilla, thus starting my now famous collection of them.” Ms. Papin’s students find her strict, but fair and understanding. In the end, they usually enjoy her class and feel they learn a lot about their religion.
