Welcome to First Grade! Alix Wilt is thrilled to be teaching at Saint Odilo School. It is sure to be a wonderful year filled with lots of learning, tons of fun, and many new experiences for her and her students. First grade is a year in which children make tremendous progress from beginning to end. Throughout the year, first graders will continue to build on their reading skills, build on their number sense in math, learn about the world around us in social studies, begin to ask questions and understand how things function in science, and become closer to God in religion. 

Alix graduated from Marquette University located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Math for Elementary School Teachers. She has worked with children in various settings including volunteering as a gymnastics coach, working as a camp counselor and of course spending her time in the classroom teaching. Alix combines all of these experiences to create a positive classroom environment for students to learn and grow.
