Dear Parent,

For both returning and new families to Saint Odilo School, it is truly my pleasure to welcome you to the 2013-14 school year.  Thank you for visiting the Saint Odilo School website.  This website has been specifically created to enhance the communication between school and home.  Please explore this website and follow us on Facebook for information about current school news and activities.

The Saint Odilo Staff looks forward to working with parents to continue a tradition of excellence in spiritual, academic, creative, emotional, and social growth for our students. I am committed to supporting the Saint Odilo Staff in moving toward providing a high quality, standards-based education that is focused on student learning and data driven results.

Our community of learners is made up of outstanding students, a dedicated staff of caring professionals, active and involved parents, and a supportive Church community.  Through the work of involved parents we have put together a plan to create a new play space with equipment for the primary grades. Creating a Saint Odilo Parent Organization this year will be instrumental in bringing this projet to completion by spring 2014.  Let me know how you want to get involved! I encourage you to get involved in our community…everyone has something to contribute...TIME, TALENT, OR TREASURE! On any given day, we have parent volunteers in our school.  Volunteers can assist in the classroom, library, cafeteria, and they can plan and manage numerous school-wide community events.  Your time is a significant investment in student learning and we appreciate the gift of our strong school-home partnership.

Communication among the entire school community enhances our success. Friday Folders, Facebook, monthly calendars and teacher email access help to enhance communication.  Please feel free to contact me anytime, as I am eager to build a partnership with you and share in this amazing task of educating our children.  Your ideas, questions, and thoughts are important, please share them with me.

Sincerely,

William P. Donegan
