I have
three children, Jayme (8th), Jack (7th)
and Lucy (K), who attend Saint Odilo.
Activities in the Lab
The
Saint Odilo Computer Research Lab offers 40 minutes
of computer and research time to students Kindergarten through 8th grade. Fifth
through Eighth grade meet 3 times a week.
Students
work on educational internet sites, internet scavenger hunts, keyboarding,
power point presentations, photography and photojournalism projects, and blogging and emailing through our Saint Odilo
School Website.
Mid
October through November the 8th grade class works on writing projects assigned
and graded by student teachers from
The Cougar Crier (formerly The Odilo
Millennium News)
The
Cougar Crier’s first publication was May 2013. The Class of 2013 realized that
the student-run newspaper needed a name change. The newspaper has been solely
written by the students since 1999.

is Health Month where we focus on healthy eating habits and visited by a
nutritionist who shows the students the importance of eating healthy snacks and
the downfall to eating too many sweets.
February
is Fitness Month where I have the students workout to yoga, tai chi, and other
forms of fitness dvd’s.
Students are also welcome to bring in their own choice of fitness dvd’s from home.
